Senior Electrical Engineer – PCB & Hardware Design

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, test, and validate mission-critical electronic hardware used in aircraft, missile, and space applications.
What You'll Do
As a member of our engineering team, you will:
- Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for aerospace and defense applications.
- Create PCB schematics, layouts, fabrication packages, and manufacturing documentation using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer preferred).
- Design hardware capable of operating in demanding environments including vibration, shock, temperature extremes, and EMI/EMC conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define hardware requirements and system architectures.
- Perform circuit simulation, design verification, peer reviews, and hardware validation.
- Develop and execute test plans for prototype and production hardware.
- Troubleshoot electrical hardware issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Utilize laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to validate hardware performance.
- Prepare engineering documentation including design specifications, test reports, manufacturing drawings, and technical data packages.
- Support prototype builds, manufacturing, integration, and system testing.
- Stay current on emerging PCB technologies, embedded hardware trends, and aerospace engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline plus:
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- OR Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
- OR PhD with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience designing analog and digital circuits.
- Experience creating PCB schematics and layouts using PCB CAD software (Altium Designer preferred).
- Experience with laboratory test equipment including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Digital multimeters
- Strong understanding of electronic design principles and hardware debugging.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience
One of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $112,840.48 per year
