Senior Electrical Engineer – PCB & Hardware Design

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, test, and validate mission-critical electronic hardware used in aircraft, missile, and space applications.

What You'll Do

As a member of our engineering team, you will:

• Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for aerospace and defense applications.
• Create PCB schematics, layouts, fabrication packages, and manufacturing documentation using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer preferred).
• Design hardware capable of operating in demanding environments including vibration, shock, temperature extremes, and EMI/EMC conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define hardware requirements and system architectures.
• Perform circuit simulation, design verification, peer reviews, and hardware validation.
• Develop and execute test plans for prototype and production hardware.
• Troubleshoot electrical hardware issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Utilize laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to validate hardware performance.
• Prepare engineering documentation including design specifications, test reports, manufacturing drawings, and technical data packages.
• Support prototype builds, manufacturing, integration, and system testing.
• Stay current on emerging PCB technologies, embedded hardware trends, and aerospace engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline plus:
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• OR Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
• OR PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience designing analog and digital circuits.
• Experience creating PCB schematics and layouts using PCB CAD software (Altium Designer preferred).
• Experience with laboratory test equipment including:
• Oscilloscopes
• Logic analyzers
• Digital multimeters
• Strong understanding of electronic design principles and hardware debugging.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

One of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $112,840.48 per year
