Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral support to individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and our interdisciplinary team to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines.
• Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching functional language and social interactions.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure adherence to care plans, ethical standards, and professional guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral health, autism spectrum disorders support, behavior management strategies, medical terminology, and home-based behavioral interventions.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient care in a compassionate manner.
• Strong data collection skills with attention to detail for tracking client progress effectively.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies.
• Prior experience working with children in educational or home-based settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining ethical standards in all interactions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance is preferred.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
