CDL Class A Driver
Job Summary

CLASS A License (CDL) is required. CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting different types of goods from the airport to our facility in Wood Dale, as well as other local deliveries.

They are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip. CDL Drivers must follow appropriate safety procedures to transport and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. CDL Drivers perform many of the following tasks:

• Delivering freight.

• Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers.

• Assisting workers in loading and unloading trucks.

• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.

• Driving different types of trucks.

EDUCATION

PTS requires applicants to have a Class A CDL for interstate commerce. Applicants must be able to pass a TSA background check for airport clearance.
