Responsibilities

• Assist in managing purchase orders using our ERP system to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Expedite orders by following up with vendors and internal teams to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any delays or issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and contract terms to negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels through inventory management systems and spreadsheets, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained for production needs.
• Support procurement activities by sourcing new suppliers, evaluating vendor performance, and assisting in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements to ensure smooth movement of goods from suppliers to our facilities.

Experience

• Proven experience working with enterprise resource planning systems.
• Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with purchasing management systems that are technically supported within an organization.
• Demonstrated ability in vendor communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Experience with procurement processes including sourcing, contracts, logistics coordination, and production planning.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), including data analysis for pricing trends and inventory forecasting.
