We’re looking for an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer with a focus on Inspection to own inspection planning, calibration compliance, and continuous improvement in a precision machining environment. You’ll work hands-on with the team, collaborate across departments, and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest aerospace standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and perform AS9100 First Article and Final Inspections
• Create inspection plans and ballooned drawings
• Own and maintain the calibration system (AS9100 / NIST compliant)
• Drive root cause analysis and CAPA using 8D, 5 Whys, and data-driven tools
• Analyze defect trends and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Support customer and AS9100 audits
• Partner with Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to resolve quality issues
• Mentor and support Quality Inspectors

What You Bring

• Aerospace manufacturing experience with AS9100
• Strong First Article Inspection skills
• Hands-on inspection experience (CMM, calipers, micrometers, vision systems)
• Experience with CAPA, MRB, and problem-solving methodologies
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or equivalent experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
