About the Job:
The Quality Assurance Advisor provides independent oversight, monitoring, standardization, and implementation of compliance, quality assurance, and quality improvement practices across all Youth Residential Services programs. This role functions as an independent authority to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, licensing standards, organizational policies, and program excellence, operating with a high degree of accuracy. This position is responsible for establishing compliance systems, conducting audits, monitoring outcomes, and monitor implementation of corrective actions by program leadership.
Essentials:
Develop and implement standardized compliance and quality assurance systems including audit tools, monitoring processes, and performance indicators. Ensure consistency of compliance practices across all programs.
Conduct program level compliance reviews and audits of documentation, , incident reports, and required regulatory documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
Conduct observational audits of program practices to evaluate compliance with service delivery standards, regulatory requirements, and established procedures.
Audit administrative processes including grievance procedures, reporting requirements, and internal compliance practices to ensure efficiency and alignment with regulatory expectations.
Conduct compliance reviews of personnel records limited to verification of required documentation, training records, and credentials for assurance of compliance with policy, regulations, and practice standards. Maintains and improves policies, procedures, documentation systems, EHR processes, and compliance-related training to support regulatory readiness and program excellence.
Partner with the organizational compliance support function to promote alignment across service lines and support CARF accreditation requirements.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply Minnesota DHS licensing requirements, CARF accreditation standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements within a residential services setting.
Experience conducting audits, evaluating compliance, quality assurance, and program data to identify trends, assess risk, and develop actionable recommendations.
