Job Description

Radiology Tech to:

• Performs radiographic procedures as assigned
• Work independently, displaying professional judgment and initiative
• Adhere to principles of radiation protection
• Provide compassionate patient care during the course of Imaging procedures
• Perform clerical duties as needed including processing exams for interpretation and scheduling diagnostic exams. Is flexible in meeting the staffing needs of the clinic
• Work closely with the Imaging staff, physicians, nursing staff, patients and their families
• Willing to cross-train to Computed Tomography

Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications

• Valid IEMA Rad Tech license
• ARRT certified (or eligible)
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire

Grade 18.
