Schedule: Monday–Thursday (7am – 5:30pm)

We are a small machine shop seeking a CNC Programmer with solid Mastercam experience. This role works directly with the Operations Manager and plays a key role in keeping production moving through efficient programming and shop-floor support.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC parts for 3, 4 and 5-axis machines using Mastercam
• Develop programs for new parts and support existing production jobs
• Make last-minute program edits to improve flow and minimize downtime
• Work closely with the Operations Manager, machinists, and QC
• Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and cycle times
• Troubleshoot machining issues directly on the shop floor
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Maintain organized and revision-controlled CNC programs

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC programming experience
• Strong working knowledge of Mastercam
• Experience with both 3-axis and 5-axis machining
• Solid understanding of machining fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving shop environment

Preferred (Not Required)

• Aerospace or precision machining experience
• Experience with small, tight-tolerance parts
• Familiarity with aluminum and steel machining

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
