Rene Cazares, a high-end upholstered furniture manufacturer located in the City of Industry, CA, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations.

This position is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations while developing strategies to improve efficiency, increase production output, strengthen accountability, and support the company's long-term objectives.

We are seeking a hands-on leader with a strong manufacturing background who can successfully manage daily operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and overall plant performance.

The Plant Manager will work closely with ownership and department managers to ensure production goals are achieved while developing systems and operational improvements that support future growth. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, strong leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to help elevate our manufacturing operation to the next level.

This position oversees the coordination of Upholstery, Sewing, Cutting, Woodworking, Finishing, Assembly, and Shipping operations through established department leadership and is responsible for ensuring departments work together efficiently to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Lead all daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are achieved.

· Coordinate activities across multiple departments to maximize efficiency and production flow.

· Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, production output, and operational performance.

· Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions and long-term solutions.

· Analyze production data and recommend operational improvements.

· Partner with department managers to improve labor utilization and departmental performance.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve efficiency.

· Maintain quality standards throughout all stages of manufacturing.

· Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.

· Work closely with ownership to develop short and long-term manufacturing objectives.

· Assist in developing systems and processes that support future company growth.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.

· Lead production meetings and communicate priorities.

Qualifications

· Minimum 8 years of Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership experience.

· Furniture manufacturing experience required.

· Demonstrated success improving manufacturing processes, productivity, or operational performance.

· Experience leading multiple departments within a manufacturing environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to develop and implement process improvements that produce measurable results.

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.

· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
