Job Description

We are a rapidly growing educational institution based in the Chicagoland area, offering high-quality enrichment courses for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking passionate and dedicated English Grammar and Reading Instructors to join our English program.

The instructor will help students strengthen their grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and overall literacy skills through engaging lessons, creative assignments, and age-appropriate learning activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners and can create a dynamic, supportive, and enjoyable online classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach English grammar and reading courses to K–12 students.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and assignments.
• Help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and critical-thinking skills.
• Provide clear explanations, constructive feedback, and individualized support.
• Encourage active participation and foster students’ confidence in using English.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and interactive online classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Literacy, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching English grammar and reading.
• Experience teaching writing courses is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of different ages and skill levels.
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment for online teaching.

This is a flexible, part-time remote position with opportunities to teach throughout the year.
