Playful Learning Academy is coming to Eagle River, and we’re building our teaching team.

<Responsibilities>

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises.
• Supervise children during daily routines such as meal times, naps, outdoor play, and classroom activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social skills, emotional regulation, and positive interactions among children.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities to support individual growth plans.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children’s needs, milestones, and any concerns effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by practicing proper hygiene, administering first aid when necessary, and maintaining a clean classroom environment.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing inclusive teaching strategies and working closely with specialists when required.

<Requirements>

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is advantageous.
• 6 months - 1 year Proven experience working as a Childcare Teacher Assistant/Aide.
• Certification in first aid and CPR , will provide training if needed.
• Clear criminal background check
• In-depth understanding of childhood development.
• Minimum of 3 references
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is beneficial but not required.
