Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Design Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in interior design, home selections, or stone/material sales and enjoys helping customers bring their projects to life.

This role involves assisting homeowners, contractors, designers, and fabricators with selecting marble, quartz, granite, and other stone materials for kitchens, bathrooms, and custom projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting stone materials and color combinations
• Guide clients through the showroom and warehouse selections process
• Provide product knowledge on marble, quartz, granite, and other materials
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Coordinate with sales staff and warehouse team as needed
• Maintain showroom appearance and organization
• Follow up with leads and customer inquiries
• Help create a welcoming and professional customer experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, high-end sales, or interior design preferred
• Strong knowledge of layout design, lighting design, SketchUp, CAD software, and merchandising techniques
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
• Familiarity with renovation, remodeling, construction processes, and maintenance practices
• Ability to upsell products confidently while providing exceptional customer service
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing, discounts, and inventory management
• Organizational skills to manage stock levels, product demos, and showroom presentation effectively
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inside sales, outside sales, and account management preferred
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design, home design, kitchen & bath, or stone/material sales
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of marble, quartz, granite, and interior selections preferred
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable working in a showroom and warehouse environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Computer and basic office skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with homeowners, builders, or designers
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Experience in countertop, tile, cabinetry, or related industries preferred
