Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Route Sales Representative/Driver to join our dynamic sales team. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Manage daily route schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Engage with customers professionally, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and fostering positive relationships.
• Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, sales transactions, and route activities.
• Perform merchandising tasks by organizing and displaying products attractively at customer locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels on the vehicle and communicate replenishment needs to the office team.
• Utilize strong math skills for pricing calculations, order accuracy, and invoice processing.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize route efficiency and improve overall service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving or route delivery roles; military experience with logistics or transportation is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math for accurate transactions.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing schedules, inventory, and documentation.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques and customer service best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
