Sunspel is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Store Manager to lead our Montecito store. As the face of the brand in one of California's most discerning retail destinations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, driving commercial performance, and building lasting relationships within the local community.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations while inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve ambitious sales goals. You will play a key role in growing our client base, developing community partnerships, and ensuring the store operates to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Client Experience

• Build and maintain a strong client book, fostering long-term relationships with customers.
• Deliver and champion exceptional, personalised customer service.
• Drive clientelling initiatives that increase customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Create memorable shopping experiences that reflect the Sunspel brand.

Drive Sales & Business Performance

• Lead the team to exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Analyse sales trends and performance metrics, implementing actions to maximise results.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business through local outreach and community engagement.
• Develop relationships with local businesses, hotels, and organisations to drive awareness and footfall.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing store team.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating working environment.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and day-to-day team operations.
• Coach and support team members to achieve individual and store goals.

Store Operations

• Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure the store is presented to the highest visual merchandising standards.
• Manage stock control and inventory processes.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and loss prevention procedures.
• Ensure all operational and administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Previous experience in a retail management role, ideally within premium or luxury retail.
