Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Cleaner, where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will help create safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments for our clients. This role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of commercial spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will be soley responsible for maintaining various facilities through comprehensive cleaning routines, and handling cleaning chemicals safely. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will be vital in delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

This location takes roughly 1 hr for cleaning. This is performed on a Saturday, once per week, only 4 times a month, and is ready to be cleaned. Main duties are wiping down stairs, blowing debris from each stairwell, picking up trash, and cleaning 2 glass doors. once per month, light bulbs need changing (extra pay) and bottom of each stairwelll needs mopped. You are required to have your own tools and supplies.

Pay Structure:

PAY for PERFORMANCE (P4P)

· Merit Pay: Permanent base-salary per job completion (33% Starting) Roughly $50/hr

Your base salary for each job worked and completed. No extra pay is perceived here. Paid bi-weekly.

· On-Time/Schedule Bonus: Additional pay per month (3.5%)

Addition to your Merit Pay, regardless of Job QCC Bonus, if you complete ALL assigned tasks on time and on schedule for the month. Paid on the 15th of each month.

· Job Quality, Consistency, Care (QCC) Bonus: Additional pay per month (3.5%)

Addition to your Merit Pay, regardless of On-Time/Schedule Bonus, if you do not receive any callbacks and/or complaints for the month. (REMEMBER: COMPLAINTS ALWAYS RESULT IN A CALLBACK) Paid on the 30th of each month, or last day of the month.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of stairwells to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
• Handle floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning agents with proper safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment.
• Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and other designated spaces through detailed custodial practices.
• Support environmental services initiatives by following waste disposal procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial best practices.
• Skilled in floor scrubbing.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards.
• Familiarity with various cleaning equipment.
• Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking, and climbing stairs
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of environmental services practices to promote sustainable cleaning solutions.
