About The Opportunity

We are hiring a Head Sales Trainer for our HVAC division at Closers.io. We're a $36M/yr company with over 900 active clients, and our HVAC clients come to us for selling techs and comfort advisors. Your job is to make sure every new hire we place performs at a high level. This is not a curriculum-writing desk job. This is a high-pressure, high-impact position where you directly influence whether our clients' new reps ramp fast and hit projections or wash out.

You own sales training for the HVAC vertical. You take green and experienced hires alike and drill proper sales practice within the HVAC space: running the in-home process, diagnosing and presenting options, handling price objections, closing replacements, selling memberships. If that level of ownership feels overwhelming, this is not the place for you.

What you will own

• Own the training program for all comfort advisors and selling techs placed with our HVAC clients.
• Run live training sessions and Sales Clinics that solve real revenue problems: weak close rates on replacement quotes, low average tickets, dead membership attach rates.
• Conduct call reviews and ride-along reviews that actually move numbers.
• Build and refine the HVAC sales playbook: in-home process, option presentation, financing conversations, objection handling.
• Train new hires from day one until they are hitting projections, then keep raising the bar.
• Maintain a refund and cancellation rate under three percent and a retention rate of fifty percent or higher across your HVAC accounts.
• Collaborate daily with Account Management, Recruiting, and Fulfillment Leadership to flag at-risk reps early.
• Be available on Eastern Time and attend quarterly travel and team events.

What we are looking for

Required:

• Proven comfort advisors or selling techs with real numbers behind them: high close rates, strong average tickets, membership sales that stuck.
• Experienced trainers or sales leaders in HVAC or home services who have ramped reps and led teams.
• Individuals who are competitive, hungry, and relentless about improvement.
• Operators who do not just accept feedback but aggressively pursue it.
• People who can drag a struggling rep up the mountain even when the climb is brutal.

Compensation

• Base: $200k-225k

Pay: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
