Position Summary

Noe: Must have Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong technical (ABAP) capabilities to support and enhance our highly customized SAP S/4HANA environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP professional who combines deep Finance and Controlling expertise with hands-on technical development skills.

Unlike a traditional functional consulting role, this position requires the ability to analyze complex business requirements, troubleshoot custom developments, and deliver end-to-end solutions across both functional and technical areas. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support daily operations, strategic initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Configure and support core FI/CO processes, including:
• General Ledger (New GL)
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Perform configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user training.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to support financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and S/4HANA innovation initiatives.

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support custom ABAP objects within the SAP FICO landscape.
• Debug standard SAP programs, custom programs, user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and BAPIs.
• Develop and maintain:
• Reports
• Interfaces
• Conversions
• Enhancements
• Forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPscript)
• Data extraction programs
• Perform root cause analysis for complex technical and functional issues.
• Review and optimize custom code for performance, maintainability, and SAP best practices.
• Collaborate with Basis, Security, and Development teams during transports, releases, and production deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation and support experience.
• Strong experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Proven experience working in highly customized SAP environments.
• Strong ABAP development and debugging skills.

• SAP Query and reporting tools
• Strong understanding of SAP transport management and change control processes.
• Experience supporting integrations between SAP and third-party applications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori.
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, or middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow and SAP Output Management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or food distribution industries.
• SAP FICO certification is a plus.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
