Semiconductor Field Service Manager (10 Year Minimum)
The Field Service Manager is responsible for leading Fabworx's field service endeavors by coordinating, managing, and actively engaging in customer support, complex troubleshooting, installations, and new product introductions. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on field support, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while driving continuous improvement within the service organization.
In addition to managing and performing installations, you will serve as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues from the field, working closing with our foreign field service professionals and Manufacturing Quality team on FAs, 8Ds, and other related technical investigation tools.
This position is based at our Austin, Texas headquarters and requires regular travel throughout the United States and internationally to support customer sites, strategic projects, and new product deployments.
You will report to the Director – Customer Engineering and work closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and continued business growth.
Primary areas of focus include PVD, CVD, Etch, RTP, and Epi process equipment, with an emphasis on Applied Materials platforms including Endura, Producer SE/GT, and Centura.
