About the job

As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you will drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your deep knowledge of data center security designs, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain site efficiency. You will partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with upper management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for one or multiple cross-functional technical infrastructure locations.
  
• Act as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions.
  
• Drive security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
  
• Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture.
  
• Perform complex risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of highly secure facilities.
