What You'll Do
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for production environments.
- Own projects from architecture and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
- Build across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and AI technologies.
- Quickly become productive in unfamiliar codebases and contribute with minimal ramp time.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
- Leverage modern AI development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that supports long-term growth.
- Help improve engineering processes, development practices, and technical standards across the team.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production software.
- Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and distributed applications.
- Comfortable working across multiple areas of the technology stack.
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools into your daily workflow.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in large or unfamiliar codebases.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- A hands-on mindset with a passion for solving problems and delivering high-quality software.
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered products or workflow automation platforms.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, or agent-based architectures.
- Open source contributions, technical writing, conference presentations, or meaningful side projects.
- Experience working in startup environments or owning products from concept through production.

Location
This is an on-site role based in New York City. Working together in person helps us collaborate more effectively, solve problems faster, and build better software.
Pay: $180,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
