Compensation: $55.00–$85.00 per hour
Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior UiPath RPA Developer for a contract opportunity with our client in Dallas, TX. This hybrid role is ideal for a highly technical automation professional with deep expertise in UiPath who can independently design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.
The Senior UiPath RPA Developer will partner with business stakeholders across Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations to identify automation opportunities, architect scalable solutions, and deliver production-ready automations that improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a consultative mindset and thrives in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade UiPath automation solutions.
- Build scalable, reusable automation components that support enterprise automation initiatives.
- Develop end-to-end automation workflows integrating enterprise applications and Microsoft technologies.
- Create production-ready automations capable of operating independently with minimal maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing automation solutions to improve performance and reliability.
Business Process Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical automation solutions.
- Recommend automation strategies, architecture, and best practices for enterprise implementations.
- Support automation initiatives from discovery through deployment and ongoing optimization.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Develop technical documentation, solution designs, support materials, and process documentation.
- Partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Operations teams throughout the automation lifecycle.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on automation governance, solution architecture, and implementation standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on UiPath development experience.
- Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise RPA solutions.
- Advanced expertise with UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, REFramework, and UiPath development best practices.
- Experience developing automations that operate independently in production environments.
- Strong understanding of automation architecture, solution design, and enterprise application integration.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable automation solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating technical documentation and solution documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting experience implementing RPA solutions across multiple business units or client environments.
- Experience designing enterprise automation programs or automation roadmaps.
- Experience with AI-enabled automation, Intelligent Automation, OCR, or UiPath Document Understanding.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience integrating UiPath with APIs, databases, and enterprise business applications.
- Experience automating Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or Shared Services processes.
- Familiarity with Automation Anywhere or other enterprise RPA platforms.
