Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Augmented)

We're building a high-impact SaaS platform and looking for an exceptional engineer to join a small, high-output engineering team. You don't just write code. You ship entire systems, fast, by combining deep technical skill with mastery of AI-assisted development tools. Working alongside our engineering manager and a fellow engineer, you'll be expected to produce at a level that rivals a much larger team.

What you'll do

You'll own large portions of the platform end-to-end: designing architecture, building backend services, standing up data pipelines, crafting frontend experiences, and deploying it all to production. As part of a lean three-person engineering team, your individual output matters enormously. You'll use AI tooling aggressively to move at a speed and volume that would traditionally require multiple engineers.

What we're looking for

• Expert-level proficiency in Next.js with TypeScript. You build fast, type-safe, production-grade frontends without hesitation
• Expert-level proficiency in Express.js (JavaScript) for backend API development, including routing, middleware, authentication, error handling, and performance tuning
• Strong AWS experience, including deploying and managing backend services on EC2 or equivalent compute infrastructure, with comfort across networking, security groups, and scaling
• Hands-on experience with AWS Amplify for frontend hosting and CI/CD
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, complex queries, indexing, and migrations using Prisma as the ORM
• Experience with DynamoDB for high-throughput messaging and event-driven data patterns
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to dramatically accelerate your output. Not as a crutch, but as a multiplier on already-strong fundamentals
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI-powered features into products
• Comfort operating autonomously with minimal oversight. You know when to make a call and when to ask

Nice to haves

• Experience with multi-agent or pipeline-based AI architectures
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK)
• Experience with additional AWS services (SQS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM)
• Prior startup or small-team experience where you wore many hats
