Preeclampsia Foundation Established in 2000, we are the leading national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit patient advocacy organization serving the 5-8% of pregnant women - 300,000 women each year in the U.S. - who are affected by hypertensive disorders of pregnancy such as preeclampsia (formerly known as toxemia), eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. We are advised by a medical board comprising the top medical and scientific experts in preeclampsia and related fields, additionally collaborating with other non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, academic institutions, and corporations to achieve our mission.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Program Coordinator, Community Engagement plays a key role in guiding Patient Family Partners and other community members from their initial connection with the Foundation through certification, onboarding, and active engagement. Reporting to the Manager of Training, MoMMAs Voices, this position maintains ongoing relationships with PFPs, coordinates and facilitates Patient & Family Advisory Councils, manages volunteer engagement, and connects community members with meaningful opportunities across the Foundation.

This role combines relationship management, meeting facilitation, volunteer coordination, and program administration. The ideal candidate is an empathetic and organized relationship builder who can independently manage participant communications, facilitate productive advisory-group meetings, and create a supportive experience for patients, families, and volunteers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field and three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, volunteer management, patient advocacy, nonprofit program coordination, healthcare outreach, or a related field. Experience working with volunteers, patient advisory councils, nonprofit organizations, community programs, or support services is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, sound judgment, empathy, and a commitment to the Foundation's mission and core values.

What You'll Do

· Guide prospective Patient Family Partners through certification, onboarding, and active engagement.

· Serve as a primary point of contact for PFPs and maintain supportive, ongoing relationships.

· Coordinate and facilitate Patient & Family Advisory Councils, including agendas, meeting logistics, documentation, and follow-up.

· Coordinate volunteer assignments and connect participants with meaningful Foundation opportunities.

· Maintain engagement records, monitor participant progress, and track program outcomes.

· Support the Foundation’s online community, educational activities, events, and community outreach efforts.

· Collaborate across departments to support education, advocacy, research, awareness, and engagement initiatives.

Salary and Benefits

• Non-profit patient advocacy organization; compensation commensurate with candidate’s experience (Range: $53,500 to $57,500)
