Busy medical malpractice litigation team seeks an Of Counsel or Senior Supervising Associate Attorney to assist with cases involving hospital and physician defense litigation. Candidates should have 8 or more years of litigation experience, not necessarily in medical malpractice defense, and must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, with exceptional legal research, writing, and editing skills. Some assistance in other areas of the law may be required such as commercial litigation and personal injury. Experience in appellate and trial support is preferred but not required. Salary is dependent upon experience and whether you prefer a part-time or full-time position.
The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, strong case management and supervisory skills, excellent communication and oral advocacy skills, and exceptional legal writing, research and editing skills. We have a friendly but fast-paced atmosphere and are looking for a team player with a great attitude.
If you are a candidate who meets the above requirements, please submit a resume for our consideration. Cover letters, if they provide additional helpful information, are appreciated but not required.
