This position is responsible for performing electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, and support production

assembly tasks. These tasks are repetitive in nature and involve building, assembling & testing routine units.

Assemblers follow methods and sequences of operations for assembling sensors, cables, soldering, bonding,

potting, testing, standard troubleshooting, and other manufacturing tasks.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform routine tasks in component assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing components, final

test, and packaging for shipment.

· Use common hand tools such as wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque drivers, pliers,

vacuum/pressure chambers and soldering equipment. Solder fine wires and flex circuits.

· Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy.

· Reading blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions. Work with process engineers to troubleshoot issues

and improve quality.

· Accurately document production processes and checks. Follow parts lists and record lot numbers &

production scrap.

· Organized, work independently, and ability to work in fast paced environments.

· Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

· Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope preferred.

· May perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Experience in ultrasonic sensor or piezoelectric ceramic device manufacturing (highly preferred)

· Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Basic skill level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

· Ability to read gauges and weighing scales.

· Ability to lift 50lbs.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to work around hazardous materials including wearing PPE.

· Valid Driver’s license

· Other tasks as required to support the business objectives

· US Citizenship required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
