Overview
Our client, an established global manufacturing organization, is seeking a Server Engineer to support and maintain enterprise server infrastructure across several operational locations. This position will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical IT systems that support business operations and production environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup solutions within a multi-site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments across multiple company locations

• Provision, configure, and maintain server systems including patching, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Manage virtualization environments using VMware ESXi/vCenter and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Support enterprise storage systems including SAN and NAS platforms
• Oversee backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity and data protection
• Monitor server health and system performance while responding to infrastructure incidents
• Troubleshoot complex server-related issues and conduct root cause analysis
• Implement security best practices including system hardening, access management, and vulnerability remediation
• Participate in server upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and modernization initiatives
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and high-availability system design

Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred

• Approximately 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure
• Experience managing server environments that support multiple facilities or locations
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a production environment
