Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a swift turnaround for incoming guests
• Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering clean utensils and linens
• Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and dishwashing stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or dishware with proper technique to prevent injury
• Support food handling and preparation activities as needed, including basic food prep tasks under supervision
• Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling and sanitation standards are met at all times

Skills

• Experience in restaurant service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is valued highly
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Basic knife skills for assisting with food preparation or garnishing (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with dishwashing techniques and cleaning protocols in a commercial kitchen setting
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in high-pressure environments
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude; ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
