Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking a client-focused Commercial Lines Client Service Representative to support our growing Propane & Energy Division. This role is responsible for servicing a specialized book of business in the propane and fuel delivery industry, working closely with producers and underwriters to manage accounts, address client needs, and support new business growth.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your commercial insurance knowledge within a niche sector while developing expertise in propane-related risks, regulations, and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary service contact for clients
• Respond to client and carrier inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and urgency
• Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and audits in accordance with agency procedures
• Input transactions into the agency management system to generate client invoices
• Ensure timely delivery of policies, endorsements, and key documents to clients
• Prepare certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and evidence of coverage for propane accounts
• Assist producers with marketing and quoting new and renewal business
• Stay informed on industry regulations and evolving risks within the propane sector
• Monitor open claims, assist with bonding, and support risk management efforts
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and procedures
• Ability to manage detailed client information with accuracy
• Interest in or experience with the energy, propane, or transportation industry is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn a specialized niche

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial lines insurance experience
• Missouri Property & Casualty license preferred (or ability to obtain)
