As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat radar, antennas, weapon s, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients, and we also develop the detailed models and simulations required. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a solid background in signal processing to develop radar and antenna models. You’ll also perform modeling tasks, including radar signal processing code develop ment and the develop ment and refinement of weapon models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You’ll directly impact the Air Force’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve survivability and vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with coding in one or more of the following: MATLAB, C++, or Fortran
• 2+ years of experience working with computational electromagnetic sof tware such as FEKO
• Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and track filters
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with engineering and mathematics
• Experience with modeling and simulation
• Experience with Linux
• Knowledge of U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems, including airborne and ground-based air defense systems
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
