ROLES: Seeking Psychiatrists for a 3 -5 day a week roles to join well run, comfortably-paced, non-profit outpatient clinics. Available roles at either a clinic serving a severe and mentally ill population (SMI) , and another role serving SMI with co-occuring Dual Diagnosis disorders.

The onsite multi-disciplinary team includes nurses, therapists, case managers and peer support to maximize successful treatment and a safe workplace.

You will predominantly focus on helping patients succeed with their SMI goals. And if working at the SMI + Dual Diagnosis clinic the substance councillors take lead on your patients' other addiction needs.

Experience a high level of nurse support for each of your visits, as well as a high level of wrap around staffing, which together maximize successful treatment and a safe workplace.

*Ability to concurrently document patient visits in an EMR while you interview your patients* will be an important skill to help achieve the mild 50% productivity goals present at this program.

REQUIREMENTS: Unrestricted California Medical License in hand at time of application. No J1 visa candidates. Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry. Medicare & Medi-Cal eligibility (we will apply for you if needed).

SCHEDULE: Start Date: August or September 2026. Your daily schedule will include 60- 90 minute intakes and 30-45 minutes follow up visits, 1-2 hour admin time to catch up on charting, forms and check ins with staff. 8 hour days.

COMPENSATION: $200 per hour. + up to $20,000 annual productivity bonus. Additional compensation for optional nurse practitioner supervision may be available. This role is Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible.
