Seeking a Product Designer for our operations here in Muskegon, MI. This position will be responsible for:

-Designing using Creo softwar

-Create, Modify and Maintain designs in Creo and other CAD tools

-Develop/support product design concepts

-Develop mechanical/electromechanical/pneumatic control systems designs

-Prepare new designs consistent with planned analysis tools

-Supportcomponents procurement, assembly / test, and production

-Write engineering change notices, participate in Material Release Board, process Engineering Change Proposals, follow engineering drawing and specification revisions, work in an Integrated Product Team environment.

-Assist with development of design/performance specifications for internal departments and suppliers

-Assist with writing statements of work for design related tasks (internal departments and suppliers)

-Recommend, plan and implement component or system product improvements

-Coordinate design models and development programs with functional departments and integrated product teams (Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing, Customer)

-Present design models and supporting analyses tocustomer representatives, and close-out questions on the design

Qualifications:

3+ years of creo experiene required

Bachelors in an Engineering discipline preferred
