We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with expertise in cosmetic injections to join our innovative aesthetic medicine team. Duties

• Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision, ensuring natural-looking results and patient satisfaction
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiology knowledge to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Educate patients on procedure options, expected outcomes, aftercare instructions, and potential risks to foster informed decision-making
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, adhering to HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties—such as dermatology, plastic surgery, or internal medicine—to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment strategies
• Ensure sterile technique during procedures like suturing or catheter care and manage infection control protocols diligently
• Stay current with esthetic laser treatments, injection administration techniques, CPT coding for billing purposes, and relevant state laws including DEA regulations for prescribing medications

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on cosmetic injectables, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments
• Strong background in medical office environments with familiarity using EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth
• Critical care experience such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly valued for managing acute reactions or complications during procedures
• Experience working within collaborative practice agreements and telehealth platforms to extend patient access and follow-up care
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to facial aesthetics, injection techniques, and advanced practice provider responsibilities in outpatient settings
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and medical documentation accurately in compliance with healthcare standards
• Additional skills in laser treatments, pain management experience, case management, or working with diverse populations—including geriatrics or individuals with disabilities—are advantageous
