Job Summary
HACO Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support, troubleshoot, repair, and install hydraulic press brakes and hydraulic shears throughout North America. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong hydraulic, electrical, PLC, CNC, and mechanical troubleshooting experience in the metal fabrication industry. This is a factory-trained field service position with direct manufacturer support, extensive travel, and overtime opportunities.
This is not an HVAC, Automotive, Diesel, Facilities Maintenance, or General Industrial Maintenance position. Candidates must have direct experience working on industrial metal fabrication equipment, preferably hydraulic press brakes and shears.
The successful candidate will work independently in the field throughout North America, diagnose complex machine issues, perform installations and preventative maintenance, train customers on machine operation, and serve as a technical representative of HACO.
Experience with Haco or similar machinery such as, Cincinnati, Amada, LVD, Durma, Bystronic, Trumpf, Accurpress, or similar metal forming equipment manufacturers is highly preferred.
This position requires extensive travel (approximately 85%) travel throughout the United States. Successful candidates must be comfortable working independently, navigating airports, vehicle rental offices, managing hotel stays, and responding to customer service needs with short notice. Prior field service travel experience is strongly preferred.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly for a global machinery manufacturer, receive factory training, collaborate with international engineering teams, and develop specialized expertise in hydraulic press brakes, shears, CNC controls, and metal fabrication technology.
If you enjoy solving challenging hydraulic, electrical, PLC, and CNC machine problems while working directly with customers, we encourage you to apply to join our dynamic team.
Your expertise will ensure optimal machine performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical and electrical skills make a tangible impact on manufacturing operations across diverse industries. You will serve as a vital link between our company and clients, delivering exceptional service that drives operational excellence.
