Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our innovative technology team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your expertise will drive the customization and integration of Business Central with various systems, ensuring seamless business operations. Responsibilities
· Design and execute seamless, real-time integrations between Business Central and third-party Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support complex supply chain and logistics operations.
· Develop and maintain data extraction and transformation pipelines to feed the enterprise data warehouse (e.g., Azure ADLS Gen2, SQL Server) for advanced analytics.
· Create, modify, and optimize custom tables, pages, and business logic rules to align the ERP with specific operational workflows.
· Design and develop advanced reporting solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for cross-functional teams and business intelligence platforms.
· Manage the full software development lifecycle for Business Central projects, from requirements gathering and gap analysis to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
· Establish and enforce rigorous coding standards, version control practices, and technical documentation protocols for all ERP modifications.
· Collaborate with external software implementation partners and internal IT staff to ensure integrations are secure, API-driven, and performant.
· Troubleshoot complex system errors, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures, providing Tier 3 technical support for the ERP ecosystem.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills
· Deep understanding of Business Central architecture, core modules (Sales, Cash Management, Finance, Purchasing), and underlying data structures.
· Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services, APIs, and utilizing integration platforms to connect ERPs with external systems.
· Solid foundation in relational database management, SQL scripting, and enterprise data warehousing concepts.
· Familiarity with modern reporting and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) and their integration with Business Central data sets.
· Ability to write clean, secure, and highly maintainable code while strictly adhering to enterprise software development standards.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to map complex business processes to technical system configurations.
· Strong communication skills, capable of discussing technical architecture with both developer peers and non-technical business leaders.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
