Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Duties

• Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Encore and similar project management software, coordinating timelines across multiple teams.
• Oversee construction estimating processes, cost management, and budget control to maximize project profitability.
• Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Manage project teams on-site and off-site, providing leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity levels.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction site safety protocols diligently while ensuring all work complies with local construction regulations and standards.
• Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Slack, Construct Connect and Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Conduct regular project progress meetings to track milestones, resolve issues promptly, and adjust schedules as needed for optimal delivery.
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to environmental policies and safety regulations while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management in commercial projects.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools including Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
• Familiarity with civil engineering software such as Construct Connect and Invarion for infrastructure design coordination.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, permits, contracts, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional time management skills.
• Experience with project leadership roles involving complex or heavy civil projects is highly desirable.
