Pickerington Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center Joint Venture with OhioHealth located on the Pickerington Medical Campus in Pickerington, Ohio. The center services multiple specialties including: orthopedic, spine, total joints, podiatry, gynecology, urology, gastrointestinal, colo-rectal, general, pain, and plastic surgery.

Pickerington Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech. The Radiology Technologist is responsible for the fluoroscopic x-ray (C-Arm) procedures in the operating room and procedure rooms, maintaining radiation safety of all workers and radiology equipment in the operating and procedure rooms, assists in direct patient care. The Radiation Technologist is responsible for using, tracking, training, and complying with Radiation Protection expectations and ensuring continued compliance with the State and Accreditation Regulations of the facility.

Hours: This position will work 3 days per week (M-F) with 9-hour shifts between standard operating hours of 630am to 4pm. No weekends, no call and no holiday hours!

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent; completion of an accredited radiology program required with active radiology license. ARRT certification required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in radiology using a C-arm. Must have experience in an operating room setting with strong knowledge in multiple specialties: Ortho, Spine, Pod, Urology, Gyn and Pain Management. Must have experience with being the responsible radiologist (IRRP) and working with ODH and Joint Commission. Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment required or documentation of current BCLS certification.
