Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in construction looking to elevate your career?

Enterprise Builders - an award-winning commercial general contractor with more than 35 years serving New Mexico - is looking for a passionate Project manager to lead a project team, oversee construction projects with superintendents and foremen, as well as plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction projects. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, including applicable building and industry codes) is a must.

What You'll Do:

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
• Lead a project team; Oversees construction projects with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction projects.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
• Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
• Responsible for ensuring revenue and profitability requirements are met by providing detailed and accurate job proposals.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of material costs, customer trends, and latest product information.
• Maintain positive working relations with all team members.
• Must manage the proposal process and ensure all requirements are met for a successful proposal submission to the client.
• Communicate effectively with the subcontractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, subcontractors, and own forces.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Coordinate/supervise all project submittals.
• Oversee distribution of project close-out material; facilitate prompt punch list final sign-off, completion and resolution of all contract paperwork for final acceptance by the client.
• Technical writing skills to prepare professional construction proposals to clients.
• Attend pre-bid conferences.
• Meeting or beating deliverable deadlines.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred, not required)
• 5 years’ experience in commercial construction management
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
• Experience in project scheduling
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, applicable building, and industry codes) as well as company policies, procedures, and standards
• Basic knowledge of construction contract law
• Ability to work rapidly and accurately with plans and computers
• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Vista, and WinEst preferred
• Ability to bid, negotiate, and manage commercial construction projects
• Experience with design-build and construction manager at risk contracts preferred
• Team player and goal oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
