Duties

• Collect, organize, and clean large datasets using statistical software such as R, SAS, Stata, or SQL to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within various economic sectors
• Perform quantitative analyses including regression analysis, forecasting, and machine learning techniques to interpret economic data
• Apply qualitative analysis methods to assess policy impacts and economic development initiatives
• Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders
• Utilize programming languages like Python to automate data processing tasks and enhance analytical efficiency
• Support the creation of economic models that forecast future trends and inform strategic planning efforts

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field with a strong foundation in math and analytics
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, Stata, or SQL is essential; experience with Python is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in data collection, cleaning, and analysis with excellent attention to detail
• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information effectively
• Knowledge of regression analysis, forecasting methods, and machine learning techniques is preferred
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with economic development concepts and market research methodologies will be advantageous
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: $56,258.17 - $67,751.77 per year
