Overview

We are seeking a Part Time Receiver/Stocker with flexible hours to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory flow, ensuring stock accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in retail operations, logistics, and customer service within a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document deliveries accurately
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and update stock records efficiently
• Load and unload merchandise using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Stock shelves, organize products, and ensure proper merchandising standards are maintained
• Assist with inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or storage
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area, including routine maintenance and safety checks
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting store associates with product location and stock availability
• Operate retail math skills for accurate stock replenishment and pricing adjustments
• Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices and materials handling procedures
• Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours in a part-time capacity
• Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards teamwork
