We are looking for a self-motivated team member to work on bridges, walls and other structural elements made of steel and concrete. You will have opportunities to participate projects on design, analysis, and construction support on variety of local projects. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Design for new bridges, walls, and other structures, structural study, or plan development
2. Existing bridge and other structures load rating, rehabilitation, or retrofit design
3. Structural modeling and analysis including linear, nonlinear, or seismic analysis
4. PS&E preparation for bridges, walls, or other structural projects
5. Engineering analysis report preparations
6. Construction shop drawing and constructability review
7. Construction cost estimation and writing of project specifications
Qualifications:
1. EIT certificate is required, PE license is preferred
2. MS in Structural Engineering
3. Minimum 3 years previous relevant engineering experience in transportation structural projects
4. Experience in using structural programs such as SAP2000
5. Familiar with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software, Microstation is a plus
6. Proactive and efficient communication with clients and colleagues
7. Experience with AASHTO bridge design codes and WSDOT BDM
