Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Ornamental Iron Superintendent and lead the successful execution of ornamental iron projects from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee high-quality craftsmanship, manage skilled crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional with extensive construction site experience and a passion for delivering exceptional ornamental iron work that elevates architectural designs.

Duties

• Supervise all phases of ornamental iron installation, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schematics, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately.
• Manage and oversee a team of skilled ironworkers and subcontractors, providing clear direction and supervision throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor construction progress daily, conduct quality control inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project standards.
• Oversee budgeting processes related to labor, materials, and equipment; track costs meticulously.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety protocols on-site to promote a safe working environment at all times.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; use tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.

Skills

• Extensive experience in ornamental iron construction management with proven supervising skills on complex projects.
• Deep familiarity with OSHA safety standards; ability to enforce safety policies effectively on-site.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills; ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in construction site experience with a focus on quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Effective management and supervisory skills; capable of leading diverse teams while maintaining high morale.
• Knowledge of contracts management including negotiation, compliance monitoring, and documentation.
• Knowledge of fencing, vehicular gates, windows grills, railings, and building codes. Light structural steel experience is helpful.
• Previous relationship with developers/superintendent is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
