Associate Attorney licensed in Virginia with experience in Litigation, Transactions, and/or Government Contracting is required.

XLP is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team with experience in Litigation, Transactions and Government Contracting, including, but not limited to, Federal procurement contract review, including review of NDAs, Teaming Agreements, subcontracts; Federal contract compliance; bid protests, claims against the Government under the Contracts Disputes Act; prosecution and defense of False Claims Act matters; compliance with Arms Export Control Act/lTAR and EAR; suspension and debarment cases; personal and facility security clearance challenges; and small business economic program certifications and challenges for SDVO·SBs, WOSBs, SDBs, 8(a) certification and other Small Business Administration Programs. This candidate may be a litigator, a transactional attorney, or ideally, a "hybrid" who can litigate and analyze transactions.

The successful candidate must be a self starter with the ability to handle projects independently, experienced in direct client communications. and be able to exercise sound professional judgment. Individual accountability and a commitment to professional growth are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation and contract matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and pleadings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records within the law office.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
