We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Network Associate to join our innovative IT team. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and data center networks to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Configure and support network hardware such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, Juniper equipment, and other networking appliances.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and encryption standards to safeguard organizational data.
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; troubleshoot issues related to equipment, connectivity, or configuration errors swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; optimize network routing for efficiency and resilience across diverse environments including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices to protect against cyber threats; perform regular system updates and patch management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, deployment of new infrastructure components, and integration of virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or Citrix for high availability solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, IPsec, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco networking equipment such as routers, switches, ASA firewalls; familiarity with Meraki cloud-managed devices is a plus.
• Knowledge of network security tools including Cisco ISE, IDS/IPS systems, VPN configuration (IPsec & SSL), LDAP/Active Directory integration, and cloud security measures.
• Strong background in system administration across operating systems like Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS), Debian, openSUSE; scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell are advantageous.
• Experience supporting data center environments with SAN storage solutions; familiarity with VMware vSphere or other virtualization platforms is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues involving load balancing, high availability configurations, VPNs, firewall rules, and equipment failures efficiently.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ITIL practices for effective service management.
