Position Overview – Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to play a vital role in our team. Your expertise will guide patients through comprehensive assessments, provide mental health counseling, and develop treatment plans that empower individuals toward emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

2. Hourly Pay with Bonus Incentives (_Piece‑Rate / Billable Hour Compensation_)

Counselors are paid hourly based on their licensure status, structured as a piece‑rate compensation system, whereby compensation is earned based on billable units of direct patient services performed, rather than a guaranteed number of work hours, with additional bonus opportunities tied to billable hours:

• Fully Licensed Counselors:
• $45 per hour base pay
• Bonus incentives:
• Earn $2.50 extra per hour when reaching 32 billable hours per week, increasing pay to $47.50 per hour
• Earn $5 extra per hour when reaching 36 billable hours per week, increasing pay to $50 per hour

Patient Care Requirement Counselors are expected to dedicate 80% of their work time to direct patient care, within 60 days of their start date, ensuring a focused and impactful clinical practice. Work-Life Balance & Stability

• Full-time counselors work a set schedule, either four or five days per week, determined at the time of hiring—no unpredictable hours or last-minute changes!
