Advanced Logic Industries, Inc. is looking for a Network/TAC Engineer to support clients by helping them overcome technical issues and coordinating service escalations.

This position is responsible for building strong relationships with Engineering, Sales, and Customers; and is part of a team that works together to ensure our clients receive the highest standards of service.

This position affords the opportunity to predominately work remotely, with occasional light travel to customer sites in the western Virginia region when required.

COMPENSATION

• Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Triage incoming issues and assign appropriate resources.
• Walk customers through problem solving processes for troubleshooting hardware, software, and printer issues.
• Participate in meetings with vendors and customers, providing input on various initiatives.
• Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure systems stay operational (support during an outage).
• Provide first and second level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues in a remote support environment.
• Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
• Keep apprised of patches, latest technologies, and upcoming infrastructure installations
• Research new technologies.
• Assist in efforts of the design, testing and implementation of new systems architecture.
• Work closely with OEM, break-fix and integration vendors during systems implementation and troubleshooting.
• Provide detailed notes for issue resolution.

• WHO YOU ARE – JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience working in an IT infrastructure environment.
  • 3+ years in customer facing role(s) working with clients
  • Experience in managing and supporting Windows server and desktop environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 support
  • Experience with VMware/vSphere administration a plus
  • Experience in managing and supporting virtual server environments
  • Proficient in monitoring networking activity via remote support tools
  • Experience in managing and supporting Veeam a plus.
  • Communicates effectively with managers, coworkers, and clients
  • Provides excellent client service and consulting

  SCHEDULE:

  • 8-hour shifts with occasional overtime
