Salary $74,000-$86,000, depending on experience.

This position supervises a unit of processing and customer service staff performing all activities relating to cash receipts, cash disbursements, billing, and overdue account collections for AFI lines of business nationwide.

EDUCATION

• BS/BA Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Four years of relevant work experience may substitute this requirement

EXPERIENCE

• Two years of satisfactory job performance in a senior Accounting (or equivalent) position with AFI, or four years of accounting experience in a financial services or property/casualty insurance company

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical functions, which may include statistical analysis, modeling, and calculation of percentages and ratios

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to gather and analyze relevant facts and information needed to determine appropriate actions or recommendations to management
• Demonstrates excellent negotiation skills
• Demonstrates sound judgement and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate unit tasks with only general guidance
• Ability to coordinate activities effectively with other units/departments and to direct the work activities of unit staff
