SKILLS / TRAITS

Ideal Project Management candidates should possess the following skills to successfully lead and complete projects:

• Able to manage tightly coordinated project timelines, employee schedules, and delivery dates
• 3+ years of experience successfully integrating various sized AV projects
• Understands the installation of structured cabling, terminations, and inter-rack wiring
• Understands signal flow and equipment functions
• Familiar with systems closeout and commissioning
• Has strong oral and written communication skills
• Provides a great customer experience
• Experience reading architectural drawings and system diagrams
• Well organized, detail oriented, problem solver
• Competent with Windows-based software such as MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
• Not afraid to ask for help and leverage an amazing network of teammates
• CTS, CTS-I, or similar AV industry recognized certification a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties cover all aspects of planning and managing projects from award to completion. Project Manager tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Planning of all project phases
• Setting expectations with customers and other trades
• Coordination of rack building, and on-site installation phases
• Field verification of site readiness
• Generating change orders as needed
• Routine visits to project sites to ensure quality and timeliness of installations
• Customer training
• Project closeout
• Maintaining project files
• Tracking and managing labor hours and budgets
• Manage permits and inspections
• Ensure job-site safety and tidiness

The Project Manager role will be a liaison between Technical Services, the Sales staff and our Clients. This position requires occasional travel to remote job sites.
