In this fully remote role, you'll transform architectural plans into accurate, high-quality design layouts while collaborating with customers, architects, builders, and our internal design team.

As a Remote Technical Designer, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and project teams by:
Read and interpret architectural blueprints and construction documents.
Analyze structural load requirements and design specifications.
Create accurate layout drawings using industry-leading design software.
Collaborate with customers, architects, builders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Prepare project quotes and estimates.
Maintain accurate project documentation and update SharePoint.
Review design layouts completed by technical team members and provide constructive feedback.
Coordinate and maintain the Design Center schedule.
Respond to technical questions and provide exceptional customer support.
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Experienced in reading blueprints and construction documents.
A strong communicator who enjoys working with customers and teammates in a virtual environment.
Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Comfortable using technology and eager to learn new software and systems.
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive while working remotely.
Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Six months to one year of drafting, design, construction, engineering, or related experience preferred.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with BisTrack is a plus, but not required.
