About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build a strong foundation in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder communication while working alongside experienced analysts and project teams.
What You'll Do
· Gather, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation
· Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and business requirement documents (BRDs)
· Support process mapping and workflow analysis using tools like Visio or Lucidchart
· Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including functional specifications
· Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
· Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and help define acceptance criteria
· Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups) as part of a Scrum team
· Prepare status reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
· Assist with change management activities, including training materials and communication plans
What We're Looking For
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
· Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) is a plus
· Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Exposure to Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements/backlog management tools
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
· ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) or actively pursuing certification
· Exposure to Power BI or Tableau
· Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for drafting requirements or summaries
· Internship or academic project experience involving process improvement or data analysis
