Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Information Technology to lead our organization’s technology vision and operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, systems development, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure robust security protocols, and align technology strategies with business goals to foster growth and operational excellence. As a senior leader, you will inspire teams, manage vendor relationships, and champion best practices in IT governance and risk management.

Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies that support organizational objectives and promote technological innovation.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization environments like vSphere, and network systems including MPLS, VPNs, DNS, and WAN.
• Oversee cybersecurity measures ensuring compliance with standards such as PCI DSS and NIST, managing firewalls, network security protocols, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity planning.
• Manage large-scale projects involving application development using frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js, PHP,.NET, JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, MongoDB, Oracle databases, SQL Server databases, ETL processes, APIs integration, and SDLC practices.
• Supervise system administration tasks including server management (physical and virtual), Active Directory management, Microsoft Exchange administration, SAN storage solutions, and network infrastructure maintenance.
• Cultivate a high-performing IT team through leadership development initiatives while fostering a collaborative environment aligned with Agile methodologies.
• Establish vendor management protocols to evaluate technology solutions such as ERP systems and help desk services while negotiating contracts to optimize value.

Requirements

• Proven experience in senior IT leadership roles with a strong background in system design, application development, and enterprise architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization (vSphere), network security (firewall management), and computer networking fundamentals including DNS and VPNs.
• Hands-on expertise with databases (SQL Server, Oracle), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), data warehouses, ETL processes, and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as PCI DSS compliance and NIST frameworks for information security management.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices including change management processes for software deployment across diverse environments.
• Experience managing large budgets while implementing cost-effective IT solutions that support business growth.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within an Agile environment while adhering to SDLC best practices.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
